Don't. F*ckin. Quit.

What’s Up Legends 🤘

This week I will cover the art of being persistent through:

  • 🏋️ My Lifestyle Journey

  • 📈 My Twitter Account

  • ✏️ My Pursuit of Writing

Let’s get to it 👇

From Sorry to Savage 🤘

The reality is, we all suck at being persistent. When things get hard, we want to quit. And sometimes, actually a lot of the time, we do.

This was my problem. Sitting on the couch wasn’t fulfilling, but temporarily it was easier than working out. Hence why I could never stay consistent with workouts.

Just like everything else, creating a healthy lifestyle is a process. You are going to fail, but in those failures are lessons, and you have to take those with you.

If you give up at every obstacle, you are fucked. The obstacle is the way. Achieving something new requires doing something you never did.

Through years of trial and error, failures and wins, I was able to get myself in the best shape of my life mentally and physically.

Hold yourself accountable, keep going. The only way forward is a world where quitting is not an option.

In future content, I will breakdown specific lifestyle changes I made, but right now I am putting an emphasis on persistence.

Now onto my Twitter Account 👉

Growing My Twitter 📈

In just a few months I grew my Twitter account from pretty much nothing to almost 5k followers. I had achieved something that far surpassed my expectations.

What was my intent with Twitter?

Twitter is an unbelievable tool for networking, learning, and creating opportunity. And I wanted to use it for just that.

Imagine tweeting to nobody for a solid month. No interactions, no engagement, no likes, no nothing. That is how it started.

You can read as many Twitter growth hacks as you want, BUT if you are not persistent, none of it matters.

Pushing through the urges to quit brought me 5k followers, many new friends, a part time crypto job, and a new wealth of knowledge.

It’s amazing what small wins can amount to if you just keep pushing. I can now leverage this platform to help build my future and continue growing.

Writing Sucks…But I Kept Doing It ✍️

Writing is an ultra powerful tool, in some ways it’s a super power. I hated it. Because it’s hard. I avoided it at all costs and when I got something going, I stopped.

I started this newsletter with 3 subscribers. Wrote for 10 or so weeks with under 20 people reading. Kept writing.

New ideas came to me, my writing got better, I got more passionate.

I then hit 50 subs, and it felt good. But in that moment I felt hopeless. Why continue? At this rate I will never make it to 100 subscribers.

At the time of writing this, my email list just surpassed 250 subscribers.

Another major element of life that got better through the art of persistence.

This week’s newsletter is not meant to teach you a novel’s worth of information or keep you updated on news.

It is to emphasize the simple messages that serve as the foundation to our lives.

Don’t. Fucking. Quit.

Here is a great podcast I listened to this week. It gives great insight on navigating life’s challenges and how to do things better:
